Switches are used in applications throughout the world and are one of the most common components used in trigger based systems.

Switches have great functionality in Flowcode and have an extensive set of options and functions to effectively create a simple or complex switch component with ease using the Switch base and Switch extension components.

There are many existing switch components in Flowcode available to for use, some which are designed for the Dashboard Panel others which are more effective using the System Panel, some switches are made to be used in specific systems etc.

There are a wide variety of switches already available for a range of different purposes, and the ability to create your own switch component to use as a multi-purpose switch or even for a specific program, component or system/application.

Switches can vary in functionality and appearance, from a momentary triggered push button to a latching switch which rotates to display the state of the switch.
