The System Panel and Dashboard Panel are both designed to compliment each other, the System panel is generally used as the main panel as it has more functionality and detail to allow a more flexible environment to create and use components effectively. The System panel is used to display the majority of components etc. for example, the System panel displays and simulates a robotic arm whereas the Dashboard panel displays interactive controls which can be used to control the robotic arm.
