flowcode v4 running C code
flowcode v4 running C code
Hi all, Just had an idea, ....ouch ... as C code cannot be run in the flowcode program, is there any milage in being able to use `mplab` as a plugin to enable for C code running.

Re: flowcode v4 running C code
I don't think you can use MPLAB like that. But you can create plugins that work inside MPLAB. I have been looking at developing a Flowcode plugin that sits in MPLAB and can tap into its debug and simulation capabilities. Unfortunately, this looks to be impossible with the restrictions currently imposed on the plugin's behaviour. But I will keep an eye on this one.
In Flowcode v4, I don't think any user's C code will simulate (as is the case currently). But, one of the bigger additions to Flowcode v4 will be an in-built ICD functionality. This will work with the C code and should make debugging programs much easier.
