I use the "bootloader" version of this board. It's great!
I can program the board with the USB connector on the top side.
On the same connector I can connect the computer with the same cable and make a connection as an rs232 and send/receive date from the computer. It's working with 921kB.
Can I use on the chipkit wi fire, the small connector on the botton side, to send/receive date to the computer much faster?

Hi Ben
Is it possible now PIC32 with USB?
I would like to test with the demo board wi fire of Digilent and then draw my own circuit board with a USB port.

Hello,
PIC32 USB is now functional though not yet released. I'll make an effort to get this out this week so you can have a play and see how you get on.
The current stumbling block is the documentation, you have to change some of the compiler settings and include a version of Microchip harmony but this is in progress and should be ready to release soon.
I'll let you know as soon as this is available.

Hi Ben
Is there somthing I can try ?
If the USB port on the pic32 would work,
I would not have to integrate a ftdi chip into my board for USB.
