Hi,
I am trying to import an fcf file from Flowcode 5 in Flowcode 6, but this fails with an error message saying the file is corrupt. Any ideas what could be wrong?
thanks
Kees

Re: Flowcode V5 import fails
Hello,
I cannot seem to open this in V5 either.
Can you confirm what version of v5 you are running (Help >> About) and that it loads correctly on your version of Flowcode v5.

Re: Flowcode V5 import fails
Sorry for the delay, but I needed to ask my student. The version is:
Flowcode 5 professional version v5.5.2.1 (30-01-2013)
Cheers

Re: Flowcode V5 import fails
Hello,
What language is the computer used in and what language is Flowcode used in?
As i cannot open it in v5 even i am assuming that maybe there is a character which Flowcode does not like opening in the variable names/macro names etc.

Re: Flowcode V5 import fails
Does the back-up version open?
if you rename the file which ends in .001 from:
Timer 48uur LCD display lus naar 0.fcf.001
To
Timer 48uur LCD display lus naar 0.fcf then the back-up file may open?
All flowcharts should automatically generate a file ending in 001 which is a back-up Flowchart.

Re: Flowcode V5 import fails
it doesn't get to that point...no backup file is made because Flowcode crashes...

Re: Flowcode V5 import fails
Hi
I know it won't now it crashes.
But if there never was a backup from the start then, I cant really suggest anything else.
Sorry
i was thinking that when the flowchart was originally made, it produced a back-up?keesp wrote:no backup file is made because Flowcode crashes...

Hello,
Can you check that the variables/macros within the program do not use any special characters (eg: Ü, ó, ¿ etc)
Regards,
DAvid
