FC8 closes by itself ?

Hi,
I have used my version of FC8 (educational license) for the past years and never have I had a problem like this.
During the lockdown, since march 13th, I have never had this program close itself just after opening.
Today I wanted to review some of the programs my students made and FC8 wil not stay open. It closes directly after starting up, or -and that's the odd thing here- when I try to download updates (after completely removing the key in regedit and re-installing FC8).

What is going on here?

Thanks for letting us know about this problem and apologies for the inconvenience. It was an issue with the update system which we have now fixed and Flowcode should now work ok.
