Problems with BMP280

Post by Bruno »

Hi Benj and everyone
I made a project with the BMP280 sensor and it works perfectly, but this morning I received the notification that a new version of the component was available.
I downloaded it and restarted the program, but the sensor is no longer
present among the components.
I re-installed version 5 and it works, the later ones are not displayed between the sensors.
I use flowcode 8

Thank you

Hi Bruno.
Sorry that was my fault.
The correct version will be available as the latest version, as soon as possible.

Hi Bruno.
The update has been pushed to the system, so hopefully all is back to normal.
I have a BMP280 and a BME280
Although for the BME280, I added a flowchart example here that shows how to calculate the altitude ft & m from the pressure reading if you are interested?
It can easily be changed to BMP280.
The example flowchart even displayed the height of the stairs I walked up.
It makes a good altimeter :)

Hi Martin
I have updated the component, version 8 but, it gives me the message:
"not genuine".
However, the component works correctly
Thank you.
