We are aware of an issue where the 8-bit PIC toolchain for Flowcode v9 causes the equivalent toolchain for Flowcode v8 to stop working. This has now been fixed, but I am reporting it here with instructions on how to fix it just in case it affects anyone who has downloaded and installed the v9 toolchain on or before 16th Dec (yesterday).
The problem occurs when an existing v8 user downloads and installs the new v9 PIC (8-bit) toolchain from the downloads page on flowcode.co.uk. Trying to compile a PIC (8-bit) project in v8 will fail with a message saying the toolchain has not been installed.

To reiterate, this issue should now be fixed and will only affect people who downloaded the new toolchain from flowcode.co.uk before today.

The fix is simple:
- Uninstall both the PIC (8-bit) toolchains:
- Download and reinstall the old toolchain for v8 from here:

- Download and reinstall the new toolchain for v9 from here:
