The microchip web site mentions release of upgrades of the popular PIC 16F876 and 877 chips to include 16F88 low power features.
The new devices are PIC 16F886 and 16F887.
Does the PPP software work for these devices?

Currently these chips are not supported by PPP. However when the new version of PPP is made there there are a few chips that we wish to add so these will probably be added to the list.
