MAX32620HSP/ Cortex M4F/ Maxim Integrated

Post by stefan.erni »

I do not know whether these processors from Maxim Integrated already are possible to program with FC7

Would that be a chip-pack for FC8?
Maybe with the board......

Hi Stefan,

We can certainly add it to the list, but I'm not aware of much pull for the Maxim devices in Flowcode at the moment. Creating a chip pack is a big job and then you have to support it going forward so it's not something we decide to do lightly.

Hi Ben

I understand what you mean. I do not really need the Maxim.
Also there is still Analog Devices. They also use an Ultra-low Power ARM Cortex M3. for me these ARM names are confusing. The Microchip with the PIC was easier. With the 5 pin from the ICSP one could program all Pic. Is that with the ARM CORTEX also so?
Here is an example of a current board from Analog Device.
