Hi
It would be really handy if multiple projects could be open concurrently AND be able to cut and paste between them.

If am working on a project and, say a useful code snippet is posted on the forum which I want to look at, a second window within FC should open NOT try and close the existing and open another.

Thanks
Matt

Hi,
I've tried and it crashes the first instance when I paste a component over from second to first

Besides why should I have to? When you open 4 PDF's there isn't 4 Adobe readers running - there's the reader and 4 documents open underneath modern application shouldn't waste resources like that

You can copy and paste between multiple instances of Flowcode. -->

Compared to Word its different yes.

The trick is that you cannot open multiple instances from clicking the project files, you have to go throug start menu and start Flowcode V7 from there multiple times. Flowcode unfortunately doesn't have a button like VLC has that you can choose do you want to always run new instance when file is opened from windows explorer.exe.

I have this working great and i can copy-paste without a problem. The copy paste is just like copying text (it actually is text).

Output:

0 -> PORTA

In these days, the computers are so powerful that having multiple instances open of a program should not be a problem.

MAKE sure your other project has the component your copyed item is reffering to placed on the dashboard.

Could you post your specs for us to have a look? Like running "dxdiag" or similar?
