Variable watch/modify window in FC7

Post by jadiflow »

Hi, getting back to FC7 after some hiatus. For some reason, I forgot how to bring up the window to watch/modify variables during a debug run.
Tried many things, the debug|Show|Watch window is checked but nothing shown on the screen.
I am sure I'm missing something trivial but am stuck.
Can anybody give me a push please?

Thanks,

Jan Didden

Hi Jan,
The simulation debugger should appear as soon as you press the single-step F8 key.
If it does not, the window could have accidentally been moved out of the monitor view area or merged with another panel e.g. 2D or 3D panel.
While the simulation is paused, Select Debug menu, Show> Watch window.
Each time you select Show> Watch window, the watch window is toggled on and off.
I'm not sure if that will work as I believe the default is for the window to be enabled again when Flowcode is first loaded.
You could select the Window menu, Restore Window Layout> Default, if the Show> Watch window option does not work.

Thanks for letting us know.
For other people who have the same problem, What was the issue and fix you did?
