Hello, would it be possible to have a modification of the Formula AllCode API so that we can send an external command in USBserial and transfer it to the Formula AllCode hardware in simulation.
The idea is to be able to test the commands coming from a terminal (here Termite) or from a windows application or others.
Best regards
Bruno

Hi Bruno,
If you use the USB Serial or COM port components then it should be possible to send commands to the FA hardware, there's no need for the API component as this simply does the same thing.
Or we can add a function to the API component if you just want access to read/write the com port directly.

Re: terminal to API Allcode to Hardware Allcode simulation
Hi Benj,
I would like to take advantage of all the macros in the api and act on the Allcode hardware. It would indeed require an additional function on the API interacting with the API Target method /Formula AllCode Sim functionality.
This would allow to test all the codes with labview, python, flowcode of course, and from a terminal... and to see the result in simulation on the hardware.
Do you think you can make the change for the start of school in January!
In the meantime, happy Christmas and New Year.
