FAT Read File Example bug found

I've been trying to read a file from a SD card without much success on my own so I downloaded the example file (FAT Read_File.fcfx) from the main site. I then downloaded the code (without any modification) onto an ECIO40P. The program ran but stuck with the message "Waiting for Card" on the LCD. After much wailing and gnashing of teeth I found the problem; in the SD card setup (v5__fat160 properties) the miso_pin and mosi_pin settings are reversed! Hi Nick,

Thanks for sharing your findings, I will investigate the examples.

In your component properties the channel is not set to anything, it may default to software mode with nothing specified but I would advise that you ensure this is also set correctly.
