Possible Bug for PIC18F2431

Post by QMESAR »

Hello Team

I suspect this to be an bug in FC
When i use 10Mhz Crystal with PLL enabled then my clock frequency is 40Mhz which is totally fine for this device its max clock speed is 40MHZ.
however FC does not allow me to enter the 40MHZ it reports a max of 20MHZ is allowed (as in the case of a PIC16)

When I use the bigger brother PIC18F4431 with the same setting FC allows me to enter the 40MHZ

Hi QMESAR,
I have attached an unofficial fix so you can enter 40MHz clock speed.
Just place the attached file in:

Code: Select all

C:\Program Files (x86)\Flowcode 6\FCD\PIC
or

Code: Select all

C:\Program Files\Flowcode 6\FCD\PIC
Depending on which windows version you have.
