Changing properties of component properties

The properties of imported component properties can be changed. Not the value, but the actual properties like 'Cosmetic name', 'type', 'variable' and even 'visible' and 'writable'.

Enable 'Expose full component tree in property pane", select component. In properties window double click on any property to change its properties.
