Hi
I am an apple user.
I have parallels running Windows 7 64bit version service pack1.
Flowcode 5 works seamlessle.
Internet connection is working.

Activation of flowcode6 keeps failing, it says ativation "failed contact administrator".
In the past two weeks I have contacted support several times about this but still it is not working.

Is there anyone who sucessfully installed flowcode6 on a apple computer????

Hi Uli. When you use Flowcode v5 do you use the default internet settings or do you change them to get v5 to work OK? Can FCv5 definitely access the internet OK?

One thing I keep meaning to do is be able to access the internet settings via the activation screen. If Flowcode can not access the internet you will get an error message.

You can still do a manual registration - download the license from your account and cut-paste the user name and key into the manual registration window.

Flowcode6 can definitely access the internet,
It verifies the username and password sucessfully, but activation fails.
Manual activation gives the same error message.

Hi I downloaded the Flowcode6 release version
Registration worke fine.
But Some files I downloaded from the forum do not open.

File name "20min.fcfx"

Error message.

"Failed to open document
Attribute <Array>is not found."

I was downloading flowcode6 in the hope that I can use it to participate in the forum. But it just seems too much hassle to use it.

Some Programs created in flowcode 5 do not simulate, neither is it possible to compile them. Lots of error messages that I do not understand. It would probably take days to make this Program work with flowcode 6. For now it is just not worth it, because it would be too much work.
Maybe once I start to make new programs from scratch I would be willing to try it out.

Hello.

You are most likely running 6.0.1. Upgrade to 6.0.3 and this will allow these files to be read OK.

If there are programs in v5 that are causing issues, if you post (or PM) them then we can take a look.

Hi I will try downloading the patch when it is convenient.
Our internet is very slow.
Is there a direct link to the patch?
If I want to do it from Flowcode Help.
Then I am forced to use windows to download it I would prefer to use the apple program. It is safer for me.

As for the flowcode5 programs I think I stick with flowcode 5 for the time. Since I only have the free version of Flowcode6 and my program is too big for the free version. So it would not be usable after the 30Day trial.

For now I only use flowcoce6 for following some threads on the Forum.

Hi I downloaded the patch,
Now I can open the files from the forum.
Unfortunately flowcode is showing in German. I guess because I am using a german keyboard.
I trie to change the Language to Englisch, but I can not find the option for english in the drop down menu.

I can see German French Arabic Dansk etc. but no english.
Is there a bug, or am I doing something wrong.

Basically you need to rename/remove the German language files in the languages folder of your flowcode installation to get English back at the moment.
