I2C LCD 20x4 PProtoboard problem

Post by ganimides2017 »

Hi guys!, I ran some Arduino 20x4 I2C LCD sample code into FLOWCODE and I noticed that works fine when simulating but when I download to the Arduino UNO nothing happens on display. The backlight is on but no character appears on it.

I´ve modified the famous "I2C address" into the LCD properties to 0x3F running down an address tester but still so it does not work!!!

I connected every wire where it must be.

Can somebody help me with this??.

thank youu!!!

Please can you attach your Flowcode project file so we can see what you're doing?

Hi

Not sure it your module has one but if it has a small potentiometer to adjust the brightness - give it a tweak. Often LCD modules can be set too bright and the characters don't appear to display
