All-In-One Dev.Board ideas for V6?

Post by Dutchie_World_Wide »

Happy New Year to you all,

For the last couple of days I've been surfing the net for an all in development board that is after playing with it, actually useable.
I've come across the MikroMedia for PIC24EP and it seems to have everything you may need, touch Screen, measure G-Forces, SPI, I2C, etc ect.
http://www.mikroe.com/mikromedia/pic24ep/

Only I don't think I'll get V6 to work with the display of this Dev.Board. I am by no means a C programmer.

Have you guys seen a development board similar to this one only with components that can be found in V6?

Hello,

Is this the display that comes with the board?

If it is then it should be possible for us to make a component that will work correctly with the display from within Flowcode.

I'm not sure if the MicroElek board software supports command line programming but if it does then you can reprogram directly from within Flowcode. Otherwise you will need a way of taking the hex file produced by Flowcode and sending it to the hardware.

Hi Benj,

That is the display it comes with, only the manual says the display comes with the HX8347D controller.

Hello,

Looking at the demo code it looks like the code is missing the actual bits that talk to the display and manipulate pixels etc. Probably to force you to use the ME software.

I'll have a bit of a dig when I get a min and see if we can support it.

Thank you Benj.

It would be great if you guys can, it looks like a great little board to play with and make something practical with it.

Thank you so far
