Autodetect chip

Post by Jan Lichtenbelt »

I'm missing terrible the "Autodetect chip" during the configuration (project options). This is a very imporant tool when you use the ICSP to test the connection between the chip and the programmer.

Kind regards ( and merry Christmas)

Hi Jan.

We can have a think about how to get a similar functionality back into Flowcode then. v5 used PPP as an external (specialised) programming tool for chips. Now we do not have this Flowcode doesn't talk to the chip in config. Perhaps we can put something in there, or perhaps you could use PPP as stand-alone (for now) to auto-detect and test comms when you need to?

Cheers,

Jonny

Hi Jonny,

Thanks for your reaction. I would very much appriciate a possibility to test the microchip in Flowcode 6. Up to now I use Flowcode 5 for testing the external microchip. PPP would of coarse an alternative.

Kind regards
