FC6 on 2 pc's

Hi,

I was just wondering if the licence for FC6 is the same as FC5 as in can you still install on 2 PC's as long as you only use 1 at a time ?

only I am trying to install on my laptop after my tower and I cannot activate it .....

Ive got FC6 installed on both tower and laptop.
You can only run it on one system at a time though.

Hi John,

When I click on activate it asks for Matrix account name and password, when I put this in and click on activate it comes back with a failed message box, if I try to activate manually it ask where the licence file is ?, where do I get the licence file from ?

Login to the Matrix account area
Click download Flowcode 6
Click Manual activtion (Blue text bottom right)
Click licence file icon to get the file
Then cut and paste the activation key

Hi John,

I have found it and done all that and it says invalid Key, I have copied and pasted my Matrix username and the Key, and downloaded the licence file and pointed to it, still get invalid key ??

I have noticed with my system, if I close FC on on system, and try to run it on the other straight away, it says I have to many copies open.
I looks like once its closed it takes a few seconds for the fact to get across the network.

My thoughts are it must have some sort of a lock on the IP address, which has to be cleared before you can open it on another system.

I think I have sussed it, however it is now telling me that the server is mad busy so I will have to try again in a bit..
