Support for PIC 16F1527

Post by lpaelke »

Hi!
It would be great if you could add support for the PIC 16F1527 (and 16F1526 as well, while you're at it) to Flowcode 5.
The nice thing about this one is that it has 10 PWM-channels, which would come in handy for a little project am working on.
I've just checked that it is supported by BoostC, so that shouldn't be a problem.

Cheers,

Lutz

While the newer version of BoostC supports this chip, support is missing in the version shipped with Flowcode 5.

So is there any hope for an update of the BoostC compiler supplied with Flowcode?

Compiler updates are (usually) only provided when Flowcode is updated. As Matrix Multimedia is working on Flowcode version 6 and getting nearer to a release of that version I do not expect an update to Flowcode 5 to be released in the near future if at all. However, I am not employed by MM so I might be wrong...

Hello,

I agree with Kersing, this device will probably not make it into v5 but we are trying to include it in v6 so it is there for the release.
