We purchased an LG Gram laptop model 17Z90N with a 4K screen to run Flowcode 5 and 9.

Flowcode 9 works perfectly but we were never able to get Flowcode 5 to start - nothing happens. Nothing showing in the task manager.

Some of our older programs were written in FC5 and we would like to support those older programs without re-writing for FC9.

Any ideas why FC5 will not run on this 4K unit? Laptop uses an Intel Iris Plus graphics card (2560 x 1600).

We have other laptops with similar hardware but with 1920 x 1080 with no issues running either version of Flowcode.

Flowcode v5 has not been supported for some time now.
If you would like to either post your v5 flowcharts on here or PM them if you want them to remain private.
We can convert them to v9 for you.
One thing to be aware of.
The compilers used are different, so the memory used up could be a bit more.
You might need to make the flowchart more efficient and/or use a modern target device.

Perhaps something like antivirus software is preventing v5 from running. You could perhaps try starting Windows in safe mode and/or disabling any firewalls/antivirus.

But as Martin (aka medelec35) says, support for v5 ended a while ago and so we're limited in how we can help.
