In the new updates, I assume that all fixes are included as FCD. C ect wich are in the "minor fixes for 5.2". Will it also be possible when you export the macro and import again, also that the variables wich are in the macros also are exported and imported again
Yes i beleive all these bugs are fixed, as for giving you guys a concrete answer i cant say, we were ready to release yesterday but a last minute critical bug was found which delayed us another day... we hope by the end of the day to release it, but again it may not happen like that... so...
yes sadly you will if you want subsequent patches to install correctly... or if you want SPI to work at all ... but you can keep using it till we release the official 5.4, the best way to proceed then would be to uninstall Flowcode, go to the Flowcode main page http://www.matrixmultimedia.com/flowcode.php and enter the last 12 characters of your licence key to get the new 5.4 full installer and then reinstall using that (you shouldnt need to enter any licence information as this is retained even after uninstall so just defer the entering of a key during installation to keep a fully activated Flowcode).
Of course all the above should only be done when we officially release 5.4!
for about 20mins after i posted the 5.4 update on the forums the old one was still online (i forgot to chagne the name over) wondering if you downloaded the full version before 2pm today?
Also what does the installer say after you run the patch now?
There are times where the MSI installer can become "confused" about what version of Flowcode is installed. For example, this might occur if you have installed any "unofficial" patches or versions from us.
To get around this, you should completely uninstall Flowcode and then reinstall it using the latest full installer. You will not need to re-enter your licence code during the installation.
But sometimes uninstalling is not enough because MSI can save cached installs and can remember what has been installed even when it has been removed. If uninstalling fails to work, there are some tools that can completely remove an install.
I had the same so uninstalled and then reinstalled the full version worked fine, but i was testing a version of 5.4. as steve says you may have to get some tools there is one on from microsoft but i cant remember what its called ,had to use it on something else it may be called msi cleanup or something like that
On my pc there was the v5.2 installed.I show for the new version with help > look for update funktion;I show there is a new one.
I get these ,install and show ver 5.2 after these....
I uninstall v5 ,download the version with larst 6 letters from the matrix-webpage ;after install I show 5.2 again.
What place is the correct new full version of v5.4?
