AVRISP mkII not able to be installed

Post by ivan85 »

Hello there,
I'm wondering someone can help me out. I have a problem trying to install the driver for AVRISP mkII, for the AVR programming board EB019-00-2 Atmel AVR Board.

I've just bought the 'AVR C Programming pack' today and after installing
E:\software\ARM Programmer\Install\mLoader_Setup which is suposed to install the AVRISP mkII driver from the file mx_eb031.inf , before plugging the board, there's still a yellow question mark on the device manager for this device, meaning the PC still hasn't recognised the device.

Is there a solution?

Also, it is after mLoader_Setup is ran, and the device plugged in, that the ARMBoardDriverInstaller.exe should then be run? ( I just followed what it says in the readme)

Thanks!
Ivan

Hello Ivan

There is an updated driver for the AVRISP mkII programmer available from here.

Hopefully this will remove the question mark next to the device for you.
