Looks like it will be more useful than using ultrasonic. Max Range under typical conditions 40 meters. Accuracy +/- 2.5cm, I think the newest has an accuracy of 1mm.
I contacted the company about example code for PIC, none at this time, however the do provide examples for other processors such as Arduino. I am a bit busy right
now myself but am chomping at the bit to get one working with PIC.
Just thought I'd get the ball rolling here. Let me know what you think?
