Hi all,
I am trying to use and older version of the eboard (with mLoader) to program a PIC26k22. I keep getting errors. I have gone through the forums and it seems people hare or are having same problem (even with the latest version of the pic programming board). I have tried most sugestion but no succes. I am running windows 8 and my board is EB006-00-8.

Can anyone help me out, please. thanks.

Hi aerostar,
Benj posted this about K22 devices.

I assume this is for the older version EB006 as I have no problems with programming a 45K22 with EB006V9 board
or is this just luck

Hi QMESAR,

It be as I have just tried to program with EB006V9 a 18F14K22 and programming fails.
Just to make sure chip is ok it programs fine with pickit3
This is from the EB006 V9 datasheet:

My 18F14K22 is not on the supported list but then the device you programmed is not either.
The odd thing is K50 is on the supported list, so wonder if it programs every single time?

I am able to program the devices supported by PPPV3, using PPPV3; but Mloader does not program any of the chips. I guess Mloader is not compatible with Eb006V8, which is the board I have. (its just that the project I am working on will work better at 64Mhz(effectively 16MHz) compared to 48MHz and Oh I so do not want to spend money on a PICKIT3).

I have the impression the list from the EB006v9 manual is out dated Martin, however it seems that the K22 devices are a problem then and I am only lucky that it did program a few times
I wonder if the Programming algorithm is such different for the K22 devices.

I do not have a K50 device to test Hmmm should get a few to try

Yes it is really a problem when we can not reliable program K20,K22;K50 and K80 device families everything else is old technology and the devices are getting to expensive compared to the new ones , our company does not even consider older devices for new designs as the production cost gets to high
