Hi,
I have a question about ICSP
I want to program a chip while in circuit.
My aim is to use Icsdat and Icsclock pins as an Input for tactile switches.
As far as I looked at the data sheet, the pic 12F1822 does not have any internal pull ups on these pins.
It looks like it only has it for the MCLR pin.
So I was considering to use 1K pull up resistors on those pins. The tactile switches will pull down the voltage to zero when they are activated. Will this work? Or will the 1k pull up resistors interfere with programming?
Best Regards:
Uli

Hi Uli,
You should be ok with say 10K pullups or larger. 1K might be too low and may interfere with the programming.
