Problem programming 12f609

Post by Albert38 »

Hello,

After I program a 12F609 on my eb006 board I'm not able to reprogram the chip anymore. How can this be solved.

I programmed with the configuration shown in the attachment

When i try to reprogramm I get the error shown in the attachment

I can reprogram the chip in my stand alone programmer with no problems.

I had the same error message appear with one of my microcontrollers. The only way I stopped the message, was to replace microcontroller with another one.
You said you can program with a standalone programmer, does it also verify 100%, or is verification not done?
If chip is faulty, then prog won't run.

looking at your flowcode, I did notice, you have target osc set for 4MHz, but your osc in configuration menu is set for 8MHz.

I've also noticed that under certain circumstances, these low pin-count chips will reprogram only when the XT/RC switch on the EB006 board is set to one of the positions. I can't remember which one, so you might want to try reprogramming with differing switch positions.
