Hi,
I'm a french student in final year at a highschool. I work with my group on a project who count for the BAC(final exam in France) about a robotic arms.
If i post a new topic today, it's because i want to ask you some questions about the MIAC because i don't understand all the document.
So, here my questions :
- Can i use the MIAC to send to some servo winch a square wave ?
- Currently, i use a SSC-32 card to move six servo motor on a robotic arm :
If you don't know i send some data from the computer to the card with a RS232 link then the card send to the servos a square wave
The size of the square wave define the position of the servo :
Can I use the MIAC without the SSC-32 card ? Because the robotic arm is on a moving support like a demining robot.
Thanks for your future answers.

Re: Questions about a MIAC school project
Hello
Yes you can use a MIAC to output to servos.
It can drive up to 4 servos, on outputs A,B,C and D
If you need more you could expand that with MIAC Expansion modules, such as the Basic Module.
(to give an additional 8 servo channels per expansion module)
Regards,
Leigh
