Default Target Chip

Post by jmccorison »

Is there any way to change the default Target Chip when starting a new flowchart? If not, adding the default to the options dialog box would certain be a nice thing.

Good idea - it's on the list.

(but as with all things, I cannot promise anything - I currently have an "issues" list consisting of between 200 and 300 items and some will inevitably not make the final cut).

Thanks Steve. Just getting on the list is good. Certainly there are many other items for V4 which are of much greater importance.

And speaking of... Is there an updated ETA for V4? Will there be a beta?

Cheers,
Jim

We are working with late December in mind for the release of v4. We will probably issue a BETA to some users nearer the time, but nothing has been decided yet.

Great. I'll be looking for it. And if you should decide to have beta users, I'd be glad to volunteer. Do I get a cigarette before the blindfold? :)

A simple way is to remove all the *.fcd that you don't use from the "fcd folder" (..\Flowcode\fcd) . But keep them in a new folder.
In Flowcode when you create a new flowchart, you will only have your favorite target.
