Zigbee component to connect with ECIO40

Post by alazaro »

Hi all!

I would like to know if you have a zigbee/bluetooth component that can connect with the ECIO40 directly.
What I mean is, for example, is I can connect the E-blocks Zigbee board – Router directly with the ECIO40 and communicate, for example, with a PC using a another zigbee/bluetooth component.

Thanks for your atention, any replys are welcome!

Hello

Both the Zigbee and the Bluetooth E-Blocks will work perfectly with the ECIO devices.

They should be connected to PortC if using the PICmicro ECIO devices and PortA if using the ARM ECIO device.

Hello Misoct,

The ECIO module does not have pin RC3 as it is used for the USB regulator pin. Pins C4 and C5 are used for the USB communications. You will need to use the patch system on the Zigbee E-block to move the connections around so that you are not using pins RC3, 4 or 5.

Hello Benje
thank you for your reply
I used the following pin connection as following
RTS RC0
CTS RC4
sleep RC1
the program works well without any problems
thanks
