ECIO base board question

Post by goldwingers »

I have just purchased a second ECIO base board and there are a couple of distinct differences between the two.

1. The old board has no (J12 - 3 pin connector) adjacent to port D.

2. My old board has a connection block across 2 pins on the icsp J2 port. but the new one does not

Can you let me know what the differences are please

Regards

Ian

Hello,

The changes to the ECIO base board have been made to improve the distribution of the power supply voltage for all possible options: External PSU, USB power, 5V microcontroller, 3.3V microcontroller (ECIO ARM).
