delay warnings
Translation the Flowcode programm I get two kind of warnings abkout delay functions and removed functions. The last is correct, because I do not use them. The delay-functions (expect delya-10us) are used, with no one the value zero. Is this just a warning or does I have to take further actions? ----...

Re: Prevent erasing EEPROM during compiling
PPP V3 options allows to choose between erasing PIC micro before programming and a check on it. I removed these options and close the windows with OK. Opening the PPP window again shows that my choosen options were removed. That means disabling the erase option was not accepted/ has been removed. Le...

Re: Compile errors.
Dear Mika, The first step with this kind of errors is to look carfeully at the C-code program and start with the first error on line 1251. Aslo look if the variable TMP_STR has been declared in the Flowcode. If this is solved , start looking at the variable CONCATENATE. After each change start compi...

Prevent erasing EEPROM during compiling
This there a possibility to prevent erasing the EEPROM during compiling the flowcode and laoding the program into the PIC, by e.g. changing the (PPP) paramters?

Re: Activate LCD Ram-Write symbols with KEYPAD
A pitty that not all ASCII codes from 0-255 can be introduced. I tried which 'printable characters' can be introduced. It seems to be from ASCII 032 =' blanc space' until ASCII (126) = }. That means e.g. ~ (ASCII 127 showed as ->), french symbols (ASCII 129 - 154) and greek symbols (ASCII 224-238) c...

Activate LCD Ram-Write symbols with KEYPAD
In flowcode 4 8 special symbols can be loaded in a LCD (RAM_Write). The symbols can only be activate for the ASCII symbols 0 until 7 (allowed nldx parameter values). A keypad can handle this be changing the wanted key "Numeric values" into 0 until 7. However, these special symbols can not be introdu...

Re: Servo
The current/power necessary a servo will go through the +V (red) and Gnd (black) and will strongly depends on the application. The servo will be controlled by a 1-2 msec pulse repeated with 50 Hz. This control line (mostly the white wire) must have enough power for the control unit in the servo. I m...

Re: Keypad 4x4
1. Just open a new flocode window. Introduce a keypad. Change the porperties to custom. 2. Drag a symbol from the zip file and an error message 461 returns (Specified format does not match fromat of data). 3. Close the error windows and try again (stupid of coarse, but it happens) the drag a symbol ...

Servo
An interesting new future are the servo's. There is even an possibility to trim the servo's. My experience is that trim at both limits of the servo (left and right) can be necessary. What does the flowcode trim? Changing the all the posotions with the trim-values? Remark: Do not connect a servo dire...

Keypad 4x4
User symbols can be introduced in the keypad. Symbols can be found e.g. http://www.matrixmultimedia.com/software/V4_sample_images.zip Dragging symbols from the unzipped file will result in an error message and the flowcode program is not be accessible anymore. Unzipping the file is thus strongly rec...

Re: Reading HE433-2/R data with Flowcode 4
How I solved the problem. Using Flowcode can introduce delay time just by program steps used. The delay time is not known and will vary when changing the program. The sampling of the 8 bits is simple realised by using interrupt time of 104 usec (19200 Hz). The start of the sampling is a problem. The...

Communication between 2 microchips
I have two inputs/ouputs left (E0 and E1 of PIC16F877A) and need to send an address and a data byte to an other microchip. What kind of communication do you advise?

Reading HE433-2/R data with Flowcode 4
I use a sender and receiver HE433-2/R of Heiland (http://www.heiland-electronic.de/uhf-mod.htm) for my turnouts/points of my gradenrailway. I want to use the digital output of the receiver to control directly the servo’s used to switch the pneumatic switches. http://lichtenbelt.com/jan/trein/klein...
