Hi Beng I get that but in your RS232 sample flowcode you ask if the input is anything other than 255 this is then followed by another decision box with the following What are these char's im supposing they are < & > but what does it do?. the return char's as in the program.....(CHR<>60) AND (CHR<>62...

Hi guys
Firstly, Thanks for the Eblocks, They arrived a couple of days late. They are so easy to use... I have got my comms up and running under your comms example.. Im using it under a program that i found on the net called "rack designer", this is a GUI interface program and you get that bit free. You als...

Help me out here
Hi guys,
I have just upgraded from a ver2 development board to Eblocks, can I use my old V2 power supply with the Eblock USB programmer board
Cheers

frequency file
Benj. I could do with a copy of your frequency meter file. I have been trying to build a complex program to measure engine speed and other stuff. would be most grateful

Comms again
I am trying to write a simple comms do dah into a program I wrote a long time ago, I am using a USB to TTL cable (3rd party supplied) .. Can someone please point me in a direction of transmitting a series of letters from A to P. from the PIC chip at say every 0.5 seconds. The outputs are depending o...

Had this one before
I still think that a slow frequency clock would be a good one, I know you have made the PWM unit but having an analogue input with a frequency range upto say 1KHZ would be great for low frequency pulses.

Alarm component
Hi Guys, I was looking at your alarm component, and I was sure at one time you had it as an example file, Could you send the flowcode file by any chance, Im struggling to work out how to incorporate a set up routine in my project and that seems to have what might lead me in the right direction. Than...

Using CAN
Hi All,
I have a project in mind for a can network using flowcode, I am looking at 1 main PIC and upto 20 nodes or so, What i would like to know is can, how do i connect the pic micros together or do i need more than just micros?
Any assistance would be greatful.

RS 232 component
Hi guys, There is no help file on the RS232 component as to how it works, ie... what does the send and receive parts mean, Is the send screen what's going out to say a PC running a VB2005 program and the receive screen whats coming in from the PC. I have wrote a very simple routing that sends a seri...

I believe that this program was once available for anyone wishing to work on new modules, Is it still available or when can we expect it to be re-released

Ben,
I seem to remember that the SDK module production tool was available once upon a time, Is it still available or will the new version be free, to allow us into flowcode build modules which can be freely available as add ons?

Yea
Exactly my thoughts, to be able to set a frequency as a square wave input would add so much more flexibity to V3....
If we had a simple sq wave module and a macro for freq division imagine where we could go
You must have one slick finger if you tap at 1Khz Canipus

A New component
Guys, just a thought, as a new component, could we not have a digital square wave input module where the frequency is adjustable, and similarly operated by an ADC - Now that would be useful. ie if we used an integer giving 0 - 1013 giving 0 -1Khz also have multipliers of 10 giving 0- 10Khz 100 givin...

Ben,
Thanks so much will go the two chip route as the micro has other stuff to do other than the VCO's, Many thanks for your advice

Further
Hi BenJ Re the VCO's - I found your test file on outputting an audio sound last night and messed around with it, by adding the ADC, checking it as an Int which then gives 1013, nice round number for 0 - 10 volts, ( making it easier to do maths on also, I then created a calc to invert this so the fre...

Hmmm
Benj,
Could you show this as a flowcode diagram, I am trying to develop two square wave outputs controlled by two ADC inputs, each would operate independantly, basically voltage controlled frequency oscillators... Can you help?

Hmmm
Ok, so going back to my original observation, I can now assume that the resultant circuit was an LED in series with a switch (to ground) and a tee point to the Input of the pic. Once the switch was depressed the LED would come on.. irrespectively that the chip was seemingly there or not. So am i rig...

Canipus, I refer you to your original posting on this subject and quote, "PS Flowcode is a great product but just wish there were more basic tutorial examples for novices." This led me to think that you were in fact a novice. Trying to help you with your problem, to which you replied also seemingly ...

Maybe this will help
If you have an input component, in your program, if you click on the switch properties box you can set your delay there. If you use the macro, this halts the programme until a switch is pressed.. hope this helps you out Any delay you put on a switch should be directly after the input block and befor...

Hi guys, Can you explain this one If i use the switches macro and connect it to say port A, then add leds component you can connect that to port A also, when you run the prog it works? Like :- Variable = "Key" begin Loop while 1 Switches macro - using wait while low decision box ( if Key>0) Branch o...
