Re: Raspberry Pi Adaptor

Although the RPi is a great little computer, I've not done as much with it as Id have liked recently. I don't have room for a 2nd monitor and having to keep swapping the monitor cable is a pain, plus it means Im not able to use the main PC at the same time. KVM switch was one option I had considered...

Re: Compatible with WINDOWS 8.1

Windows 10 is due shortly too, and its supposed to be a "free upgrade". I've avoided win8 as 7 works fine and does everything I need, but will try 10 when its released.
Has anyone tried the RC yet ?

Thanks Steve
That will be very useful to everyone.
One suggestion, some people may not be able to read the xlsx format, I tend to post in xls format where possible so it can be used by as many people as possible.

Re: Flowcode v6.1.1

Hi Ted I'm not familiar with that display, but to work in flowcode the display must have a Hitachi HD44780 or Samsung KS0066U controller chip or equivalent (the same controller as used in the e-block display). Flowcode works with a large range of device not just the PIC 16F1927 and 16F88. If you thi...

Re: fc_licensing.exe Antivirus warnings

I've used Kaspersky for years, but had problems with FC6, it kept deleting files. After trying everything it was removed and I tried Norton. This did not give any problems with FC but did have other issues. I also find Norton is quite heavy of resources (On my system anyway) Anyway, a new version of...

Re: ARDUINO pIN oUT ?

I have created these reference sheets. They give a link between the Pin out on the Arduino Processor (NOT the Arduino connectors) and the D Sockets on the EB092 Shield. These are for the Mega 2560 R3 and the UNO PDIP R3. I have given them a reasonable amount of checking but could have missed somethi...

Re: Arduino Programming problem

Hi Stuart

Just tried your flowchart on my arduino and I2C display.
I just get lines 0 and 2 fully lit and nothing on lines 1 and 3.

Don't think Ive ever had it working on Flowcode either though like you it works in the arduino software.

Re: Arduino Mega 2560 - Programming Timeout

Hi Benj You are right, the problem is related to the boot loader. I have just reloaded the bootload from an old version of the arduino software (0022) and it now works in flowcode. Previously I have been using 1.0.5 / 1.0.6 and have reloaded the bootloader from this after programming with the AVR pr...

Re: Arduino Programming In Flowcode v6

Hi Ben The file for the UNO R3 works fine now thanks. But I've just got a Arduino xino from Ciseco to try the new SRF Wireless Things component. It has the same problem, it wont program with the Xino component, but will with the normal UnoR3. Is there any difference in they way they are programmed i...

Hi Ben Thanks for the updated files I have used my arduino's with both the bootloader and the AVRISP II I then reload the bootloader using arduino IDE (1.0.5) I have just downloaded the new V1.6 IDE but not used it yet. I'll try this when I get chance to reload the bootloader. Other thought, what ve...

Re: Arduino Programming In Flowcode v6

Hi Ben Just been doing a bit of head scratching with the Arduino's I've just updated to the latest version of FC and I now find that my Arduino Uno PDIP R3 (Genuine) wont program. But If I select Uno PDIP as the device it will program. This is the error I get. I have 2 boards both have the same prob...

Re: Driving a 16x4 LCD

Hi Matt The 2x16 and 4x20 are the common types. To use other layouts you need to use the generic LCD. This lets you set the row and column config to suit your hardware. It does not show in the main output components. Click search on the main tool bar and search for LCD. You need to goto component pr...

Re: Problème de licence

Hi Pascal Flowcode does allow you to install on more than on PC at a time, but you can only have one copy open at once. So its unlikely to be a licence problem, especially if its activated ok. Plus it would still run as a 30day trial anyway. (I think) Failed to open document. Attribute <start> is no...

Re: V6 BackwardCompatible with V4

Hi Manie As with all FC versions, the new version will read and run a flowchart from the previous version(s). It may need minor tweaks to compile, but generally it should work out the box. Once a V4 flowchart for example has been opened and resaved, compiled etc in V6 in wont open in V4 again so kee...

Colour Sensor

Hi Benj

With the colour sensor can you please confirm I need to connect the 14V from the EB006 to VPWR on the sensor motherboard rather than 5v to V+
Don't want to blow anything :)
