Re: Compiling issue

Just had a look a the CCS demo, looks good.

Ok, I realise Flowcode wont get all the bells and whistles on the IDE, will see if I can get it to compile a simple program over the weekend.

Re: Arduino Mega 2560 - Programming Timeout

Hi Just tried the xloader program, works fine with the Uno and Mega 2560 (both R3) Hex files. But still getting this error with the Mega in FC6.1 (The Uno works fine) avrdude.exe: AVR device initialized and ready to accept instructions Reading | ################################################## | 1...

Re: prototype-manufacturing-service-10-boards

Hi

I've been dealing with ProtoPIC for a couple of years now for components and sensors etc. Always been reliable.
They seem to be part of a larger electronic /software design company in Scotland. Maybe that's where the boards are made.

Re: fc_licensing.exe Antivirus warnings

Hi After having numerous problems with Kaspersky. (Which I have used for years and personally still prefer over any other package) I tried AVG and Norton. Both worked without any problems they both added FC6 by default. I settled on Norton as it was cheaper for a 3 PC licence than AVG was for a sing...

Touch Sensor

Touch Sensor Introduction: I recently spotted this simple touch sensor on a component site. They are only £6.00 with free postage. Having my love of playing with sensors, a couple were ordered to play with. This is my first test project using them. This project is a simple demonstration using the A...

Re: ECIO DS pic

Hi I've used the ZIF approach for a few years. I had both the PIC and ARM ECIO and 1 EB061. I found swopping the modules needed a bit of care as they could be easily damaged, (as could the sockets on the EB061). Now I have the 16bit one and a second EB061, so still have to swop. Anyway, they have ne...

Re: Sparkfun (Arduino) Pro Micro

Hi
I know the genuine Leonardo works with FC6. This board is supposed to be compatible, but looking at the Sparkfun webpage, it looks to have a non standard bootloader, maybe this has something to do with it.
Never seen one of these boards before so not able to offer any more.

Re: Need HELP with Infrared project

Hi The IrDA board is for data transmission in a similar was to RS232 but using IR If I understand what you say, you need the RC5 component for what you are doing. This E-Block with this is a much simpler one to use. The circuit is a IR diode and IR Transmitter and a resistors / capacitors etc. I've ...

Re: Need HELP with Infrared project

Hi okeyzee Sorry to tell you the IR component is not support in the free versions of FC. You will need to buy the professional version in addition to the processor pack i.e. PIC to access that component. The free versions only has the basic components like LED, LCD ADC etc. Full info is available he...

Hi Jorg I suspect that file is part of all windows distribution's, its on my Windows 7 x 64 system, seems like yours has somehow been deleted or corrupted. As the file is almost certainly copyrighted by Microsoft its doubtful it can be included with Flowcode. Also I think the file will be different ...

Re: Starter kits for UAV projects

Hi AO PIC and AVR both have their strengths and weaknesses, it is difficult to recommend a particular path There are a lot more examples on the forums of PIC applications than AVR.(This is possibly also the case on samples on the internet too. Maybe its just me, but I find Microchip (PIC) datasheets...

Re: Arduino Programming In Flowcode v6

I have an SSD in the main system and normal hard drive in the laptop.
Dont think it can be related to that though.

My Arduinos work fine in their own IDE, and they did in the previous way of programming them in FC where I had to alter the compiler settings manually.

Re: Flowcode 6.1 for PIC not compiling

I've had a similar problem with the latest Kaspersky. First it kept deleting the licence file. I managed to cure this by adding it to the exclusions. But then it started to freeze while compiling. As of now I've not got a fix for this, as I've not had time. Had to uninstall Kaspersky and currently r...

Re: Flowcode 6 on Kali Linux

Hi AO As I replied to your other post, It may run under Linux using WINE Certainly more likely to work on a PC than a tablet. Don't think it will make any difference between 32 or 64 bit. But I don't know if the hardware drivers will work. The trial is free so you have nothing to lose by trying. You...

Re: flowcode on tablets

Hi Interesting idea :) I believe FC will run under Linux using WINE on a PC , though I've never tried it. You can always download the free 30day trial and give it a go. Dont forget the FC6 install file is over 200MB You wont be able to connect the Matrix hardware to the tablet. You'd have to export ...

Hi Benj Just received my ECIO dsPIC today. Just tried a simple counter flowchart to test it out. The second file, with the led matrix will simul...

Re: 8" TFT display, RA8875 chip

Hi

Have you looked at the 7" display form 4D Systems.
I think it should work with the same Visi macros that are in Flowcode 6 for the 3.5 and 4.3 displays.
I been using these quite a bit recently
Although this one looks to be a lot less expensive than the 4D 7 inch one.
