Re: Bl0080 programmer

Yes I believe so. I've not tried ICSP programming tho as i've been making headway with a project and using Pickit4, which is pretty fast.
I'll give it a go over the weekend but I dont expect any issue as it wasn't even recognising the chip.

Thumbs up all round :D

Re: Bl0080 programmer

Hi Medelec. Firstly thanks for your assistance. I reset my password via your link and now all good for the forums. I had a look at the voltage selector switch and it looked fine but i pushed it and noticed that it moved fiurther to the 5v end with a positive 'seating'. Totally looked fully over but ...

Re: Bl0080 programmer

Update. So I've plugged in pickit4 and programmed with MPLABX with no issues. As a second issue if i compile to device, flowcode defaults to Pickit2 and wont change which results in an error and doesnt program the device. I can live with that but i find MPLAB difficult to work with and would prefer ...

Bl0080 programmer

Hi. I recently purchased the BL0080 after having the original programmer. Ive been using it regularly with no issues. Being concerned with plugging and unplugging my PIC16F18877 i decided to use ICSP but it came up saying it couldn't communicate with the chip so I reverted to plugging and unplugging...

Re: Mloader erros

Thanks medelec. Reading the device back I get a config error (invalid config) on pickit2 and mloader. The hex file output from flowcode when loaded also gives the same error :?
Which kind of fits with what you've posted. The program works however!

Re: Mloader erros

Thanks for the efforts on this. Both your replies sort of suggest an issue with the chip, some sort of bug

Re: Mloader erros

Files attached. I'm afraid I don't share your opinion on things which are necessarily 'known to work well', having repaired CNC machines for 30 years. But have a look at the files

Re: Mloader erros

Hi, Im using flowcode 6.1.2.0 purchased just before Christmas. MLoader version 3.2.3.7 Jumpers are 5v, PSU USB programming and oscillator. Ext power suppy is 9v dc I couldn't see that flowcode was erasing the chip before reprogramming it so I started to use Mloader GUI to erase and it wouldn't autod...

Mloader erros

I've had flowcode 6 for a number of weeks and have managed to get everything programming and functioning as you'd expect. However, I have been fidlling with a little program to mimic the red and blue flashing lights of an emg vehicle, so figuring out timing is an important part of how the lights loo...
