Yes I believe so. I've not tried ICSP programming tho as i've been making headway with a project and using Pickit4, which is pretty fast.
I'll give it a go over the weekend but I dont expect any issue as it wasn't even recognising the chip.

As a second issue if i compile to device, flowcode defaults to Pickit2 and wont change which results in an error and doesnt program the device. I can live with that but i find MPLAB difficult to work with and would prefer ...

Thanks medelec. Reading the device back I get a config error (invalid config) on pickit2 and mloader. The hex file output from flowcode when loaded also gives the same error
Which kind of fits with what you've posted. The program works however!
