Re: Displaying text for received SMS

Like they say "experience is the best teacher" :)

I've learned almost everything I had questions about here except for the RS232 - port pins.

Which i am not sure if all are used during data transmission for this mobile phone application..

Still no one? :-/

Modem Control and messaging (Q&A)

Hello Guys, I have a few questions mainly about Hardware for the Modem control as well as the 9 pin RS232 interface for the Mobile phone solution . 1) How does the RS232 interface operate in terms of sending data from MCU to Modem and vice versa? and does it handle only Asynchronous data? I've had a...

Inputting alphabets for keypad 4x3

Hi MatrixM users, I am working on the Mobile phone bundle of sending text messages with the PIC16F1937. The basic program of writing a 'test message' in flowcode>uploading to MCU> and sending the 'test message' to a target phone has been achieved. My questions are how to: 1)avoid this cumbersome pro...

Re: Mobile phone system LCD display problems

Oh I see.. this will be a set back in the project then. I checked the online costs of the pre-amp mic and it seems to be very expensive (from a student's point of view) Are there any good affordable pre-amp headphones out there that you could recommend? what about the HP347 that MatrixM provides? Be...

Re: Mobile phone system LCD display problems

Oh one more thing Benj,

Do you happen to know why the microphone of the GSM board does not detect anything? using EB066-00-1
I have connect a headphone with MIC and Speaker jacks.
The speakers works fine and can detect what is being said from my own mobile phone.

Re: Mobile phone system LCD display problems

Hi Benj, You are right, I am using the new chip 16F1937. I have changed the code that you mentioned and the problem has been FIXED. I cannot begin to say how relieved and grateful I am. THANK you very much. All these weeks of troubleshooting and that little issue lied there in that line of code. I h...

Re: cant download flowcode file to PICmacro

Hi everyone, it seems that this problem is same as what I have been experiencing. There are two target chips. one is for the USB control chip (18F4455) and the other is the PIC16F1937. Now I am having problems with the LCD showing some strange characters like an 'o' with 2 dots on top and lots of bl...

Re: Problème avec PIC16F1937

Bonjour m ami,

I am new to Flowcode and I had similar problems.
When you open your flowcode, 'create new project flowchart' , choose your chip (eg. PIC16f1937) and then Open your code in that flowchart.
After that, try compiling in to the chip.
J'espere que sa vous aide.
