Adding the LED Array

<^< Set up the Output | Course Index | Adding the Switches >^>

  1. Click once on the Outputs and select 'LED Array' icon. Place the LED Array where you want it on the panel by moving the cursor over the LED Array and then clicking and dragging the selection box into position.
  2. Change the value of the 'Count' property to '8' - this adds the maximum amount of LED elements to the array.
  3. Click 'Connections' property in the Properties Pane option. Select 'PORTB' from the drop-down menu, this connects the LED's to the pins on Port B.
  4. You can also change the colour of the LED Array using the 'Colors' section, when the 'Same Color' property is set to 'Yes' you can change the colour of the whole LED Array with ease, you can also set the colours individually or even change each LED to display a different colour when the 'Same Color' property is set to 'No'.
